plotting the slow and humiliating downfall of his arch nemesis
making 2 men do all of his work for him (one of them is his nemesis btw)

Like. I wish I could live that life and so does every other MDZS character. What was LWJ doing in his 20’s? Playing sad tunes. Jiang cheng? Crying. Wei wuxian? Being dead. Sad, sad, sadder! Nie huaisang thrived! He batted his pretty little eyelashes and had this snake man doing all of his homework for a whole decade so that he would have time to plot his demise! And then he Did It!!! Poetic, exceptional, outstanding. Good for him
