another fun thought is polaris, (aeriths older brother and the cetra that gets sent to eos and joins the glaive) getting constantly mistaken as a messenger or oracle
“i hate to inform you,” polaris says to the masses, “that i am not an oracle. or a messenger, whatever that is”
“then how do you heal people?” someone asks
“oh” polaris blinks “im not entirely human.”

“After that,” Polaris informs the rest of the Greatly Amused Glaive currently listening with drinks on hand, “they all started arguing about just what my non-human part was. I snuck away when they started debating Tonberry in favor of Coeurl or mountain Malboro.”
“So, what are you?” Someone asks, light-heartedly.
Polaris considers. “The closest approximation would be that I’m part-fae. Part-fairy? I’m not sure of the translation.”
