GoFundMe for Aadilynn Reese
This is Aadilynn Reese. She was born on September 8th, 5 weeks premature. After a placental abruption, her mother Kayla was rushed in for an emergency c-section. Both mother and baby came out of it better than expected, given the circumstances. Little Aadi weighed in at 4 pounds, 9 ounces. She was put on oxygen as soon as possible because her little lungs hadn’t fully developed. She was also given an IV for antibiotics and glucose. After some testing, the doctors found that Aadi had lost a lot of blood from the ruptured placenta and what little blood she did have was being thinned by the IV fluids she was receiving. At just 19 hours old, the doctors decided Aadi needed to be life flighted to Loma Linda’s Neonatal ICU. She may need a blood transfusion and Loma Linda is better equipped to handle this procedure than the small town her family lives in. It was also decided that Aadi will need to stay in the hospital until the date she was actually due. Little Aadilynn Reese will be in the hospital for 5 weeks. Her parents, Kayla and Jordon, will be staying in Loma Linda, CA as long as Aadi is in the hospital. They are on the wait list to get a room with the Ronald McDonald House, but the list is long and it’s going to take some time. For now, they’re staying in a hotel. They’re daily costs for the room and food is over $100. And as you can imagine, the hospital bills for little Aadi are going to be extremely high and insurance will only cover so much. As the family of baby Aadilynn Reese and her parents, we are humbly requesting your help. It would mean the world to Jordon and Kayla to know they have some financial help during this difficult time.
Hey guys. So, my little niece is at the NICU at Loma Linda. She’s going to be in the hospital for 5 weeks. My brother and his girlfriend are both going to be missing work so they can stay with her. As we all know, this is going to be very costly but obviously worth it. I set up this GoFundMe to help them through this time: for their hotel and food costs and to help cover the medical bills as insurance will not be covering all of it.
I know money is tight for most of us, but any little bit will help. Please signal boost this as well. Thank you all for your support and encouraging words through this time. I really appreciate it!
