Does anyone know any graduate-student specific prayers? After the past few days...

So I signed up for a graduate-level course online - it looked fun. It was going to be my 'escape' course - fulfill a graduate requirement, but still be sufficiently *different* enough from the rest of my classes (read: outside my major field of interest) that I'd be able to appreciate the difference.

Yesterday, I go to the class and I find that it DOES NOT EXIST.

Literally.

I go the the right classroom at the right time and confirm that I am enrolled in the class but it is a totally different course from what I signed up for. Everyone was nice and supportive, but - I spent the rest of the afternoon running between department offices. First, to the one - who told me that they had no idea and shunted me to the other...

...where I find out, after investigating, that the course description listed online was for a class that was discontinued in 2009 and was never taken down, and just so happens to be cross-listed with a class I am currently enrolled in.

I spent the rest of the afternoon pouring over the course listings schedule, trying to figure out just what was going on and if there was still time to switch classes. Because while the accidental class was ok - I can see myself settling there, enjoying it - I was fairly sure that I could do better.

...I found a nice class online. So, this morning, I email the class professor and ask if she can send me the readings for this session, which takes place today, and if I can sit in on the lesson. So I read a *week's worth* of course material this morning, and thanks be to the divine that I actually enjoy it. Then I find out that there might be problems enrolling, so it's emailing three separate departments and dropping in on my graduate advisor to see what's what, while still taking notes on those readings...

Which is to say *nothing* of the Job Fair taking place on campus, so after I finish with the readings I have to dash back to my dorm and print out my resume, all the while getting dressed in the one formal outfit that I took to school with me. (I don't really like it all that much. Note to self - get a better set of formal interview clothing). Then I dash to the job fair, and I am only able to drop my resume off at one or two tables (it was CROWDED. There were lines for EVERYTHING) before I have to head back to my room, get dressed up in casual once again, and THEN dash off to *another* prior commitment.

...I sat in on the class. It looks interesting, and everyone agrees I should be able to enroll, so I sent in the request to change said course. Best of all, this is an undergraduate/graduate mixed course - I do all the graduate work, but I get to meet with the professor so we can work out an individual study schedule geared to my specific interests.

After which I sat down, and actually GOT some non-new-class work related done.

The time is currently 10 PM. Now I just need to get my laundry done and finish up with French, and I will be DONE.
