Honestly, honestly, I do too. It’s like, great, and imagining peoples various faces, when he does so, is great, imagining Noctis’ face when he finds out a stranger managed to wield the ring and its power and not die is fantastic.

(Also, it’s been a while since I played the game so forgive my assumption, but isn’t it stated somewhere that once a Lucis Caelum wields the Ring and its power they become a King? So now I’m just imagining Ace putting on the ring in a moment of panic without thinking, proceeding to yell at Somnus, and then kicking Glauca’s ass with Nyx’s help and later, when Regis, Clarus, Luna Crowe, Lib and Nyx are in the Hammerhead with Ace.

 Clarus reminds him of that detail and Ace swears so loudly it’s a miracle that no one comes running over to see what the fuss is about.)

Cor- he isn’t sure how he was supposed to feel about having a Sentinel; so it’s almost a surprise that he feels as protective of Ardyn as he does. At first he wants to blame Nyx and the Galahdians protectiveness over Ardyn but then he realizes that what he’s feeling is his own emotion and that he’s just as protective of Ardyn as Nyx is.

It’s hard not to be considering what they know; how the two of them found the makeshift sensory deprivation chamber and other things that all pointed to the fact that Ardyn wasn’t coping well without a Guide.

Cor feels protective over Nyx too; of course, it’s just that Nyx seems to be able to handle himself better than Ardyn. Which is true, but only barely.

A thing I noticed: Haplo cut his hair short before going to Arianus, presumably so as to not give away his two-toned hair, and then doesn’t do that with any of the other worlds. Aleatha even comments about his hair being like the hair of their gods at one point! 

Like… AU where there were Sartan in Pryan’s star, and Haplo’s sitting there like “phew, glad I’ve got these bandages” and they take one look at his hair and his cover is blown.

There was even a part where he was standing outside the citadel and he shouted to draw the attention of whoever was in there, and he didn’t get any response, but like

What was his plan here if there actually had been a bunch of Sartan living in there and one of them shouted back to him

Was he gonna pretend to be a normal human who dyed his hair tips white for the aesthetic

Actually, it’s explicitly stated in the books (Elven Star, I think?) that the Patryn hair-changing-color-with-age is a near-perfect analogue of the human tendency to the same. They probably would have thought that he was just a very stressed human.
