Just saw a post with a sketch of Ardyn playing chess with tonberries and just.

Ardynson Reveal via Tonberries. A bunch end up in the citadel or appear on a mission and they go right up to Nyx. Everyone expects them to try to kill him but they just attach themselves to him - Nyx pats them on the head and calls them all by individual names (like, not even good ones. He named them when he was like 5). Cue everyone going WTAF

Okay, now I can’t help but imagine Nyx going “Mister Ton! Mister Berry! Mister Deathclock! It’s so nice to see you! And you too, Mister Razorback! Mister Buffo, you’ve grown!”

Ace, in no uncertain terms, tells them that he just got back from an Extremely Long and Irritating Hunt. That he has been stuck in traffic for Hours and that he is Going to Have a Nap Now Fuck Off Cor.

Cor is Unimpressed. Ace doesn’t wake up for anyone or anything. Then Libertus gets the news of what happened and that Ace has fallen asleep in the interrogation room and thanks Ramuh because he knows how to get Ace up.

Crowe cackles as Libertus is led away. “Your funeral,” she calls.

Libertus wakes up a dead to the world Ace by taking out his phone and playing a recording of Ardyn screaming ‘DODGE’.

Ace promptly wakes up and warps to the corner furthest away from where he had been before.

I own few of moza’s doujin’s and two of them feature Ardyn with a raven (at least I think it is a raven). And I decided that i need more of that. All hail the bird of no consequence!

I basicly had no idea what I did with this, but I’m pretty happy with the result.

Though, birdie looks more like a crow than a raven…

And few details look kinda off…

so my grandma died recently, and my parents have been dealing with the quantities of Stuff accumulated over the course of her and my grandpa’s lives, which could be interesting on its own as a family matter, but, well, grandpa was a science fiction writer, and they knew a lot of science fiction writers, which means a lot of the stuff is classic sci-fi and fantasy. books, artwork, that kind of thing. what i had not realized, but perhaps should have predicted, was that knowing a lot of science fiction writers in the ‘60s meant that they knew people who had written for this one TV show in the ‘60s that some science fiction writers worked on, and these people liked to share stuff.

what i’m saying is that i have now held in my hands one of the original, physical scripts for the star trek episode “amok time”.

it was like holding a piece of history. my own hands, carefully cradling the origin of sex pollen and fuck or die. a work whose influence went far behind what the writer could have expected–sacred, almost, in its way. who knows how much spawned from this episode? how much fanfiction would never have existed were it not for this holy text? indeed, the very concept of slash itself? an artifact, a priceless relic, sitting on my parents’ couch.

i haven’t seen the entirety of the episode itself, so i don’t know if there are any real differences between the script and what was aired, but i had to skim it anyway–and i did find something that is perhaps worth mentioning, whether or not this actually counts as canon. but hey, hard to get more canon than an Actual Official Script, right?

Noctis and Prompto have about the same relationship, but if this is pretty early on he wouldn’t know Prompto yet. Hmmm. Ignis on the other hand is Noctis’ ‘Prince’ teacher, and he has to relax around Noct before Noctis warms up to him - but that happens quite soon with Nyx and Gladio to break the tension.

Noctis honestly thinks it would have been much easier if he knew about it earlier and collected them when he came to Lucis. He’s… not wrong

Regis would probably look as if all of his birthdays had come at once when he realized that Cor, one of his oldest friends, was dating Nyx, his adopted son. This makes Cor his son-in-law. (Sort of?)
