“This can’t be right,” one of the new Glaives says, squinting as they convene with various other newbies, “I mean, we would know if Ace was a Lucis Caelum. The King would know. Right?”

One of the other Glaives shrugs. “I mean,” they say awkwardly, “Maybe not? The records say they were only in Galahd a short while. It’s entirely possible that the King doesn’t know.”

“Shit.”

“It would explain why he’s always calling out magic advice.”

“Shit.”

This realization, of course, doesn’t stop them from side-eyeing the King next time Regis enters the Glaive HQ.

If Ace is there at the same time and one of the baby Glaives takes that moment to loudly ask if it’s true Ace’s father was a bigshot in Insomnia and catches Regis attention then that’s just fate.

And not meddling Glaives at all.

Even if Regis does talk to Ace after and try to find out who Ace’s dad is.

It’s fate.

Wednesday, August 29th  Hi everyone, I’m Gemma and I’m so sorry to ask this again so soon from my previous benefit sanction post but is anyone able to send me a few £’s so I can eat this coming month?

At the moment, I have absolutely no income or food until my benefits are reinstated, the sanctions aren’t due to be lifted until the start of September and I am not due to receive a payment until September 25th (a whole month away, I can provide evidence) and I know that I have asked this a lot these past few months and all the help I have previously received has literally helped me from spiralling into more debt and helped me to eat and stay warm so far and I absolutely hate to ask for more help but I have no one else to turn to.  

Also, as many of you know, earlier this month I was diagnosed with a folic acid deficiency, due to lack of nutrition and without basic groceries to take my 14 meds per day, my condition will only get worse, so this post is incredibly urgent for me. 

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life and, sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody has to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling. Thank you for your help 💖

Evidence:

“Science is amazing!” / Science as a recurring theme

Coexisting with nature (pokémon) is a major theme

Healthcare is free for everyone

Society is generally safe enough for 10-year-olds to travel alone with only their pets. In fact, it’s almost common for children to do so.

Urban sprawl is pretty well contained in most regions.

Wilderness conservation is a well-kept priority

Most people walk or bike everywhere, and those who don’t usually ride pokémon. There are few cars to cause smog.

Solar & Wind energy is used in many places, even small towns like New Bark.

Cultural love of science coexists with respect for tradition and spirituality (mediums, psychics, aura readers, etc)

It’s a possible, nearby, optimistic, future (besides the pocket monsters themselves ofc). Very little of Pokémon’s tech is too far off modern tech.

I mean. That’s basically what I want to build.

All the farm cats will be named “Meowth”.

The long post w the good explanation is being shared but not inspiring much help. So, I simplified it.

My illness is straight up fatal. Not gonna beat around thatBush, anymore. I seem desperate for help because I AM desperate for help.

My nephrologist has seen enough improvement in my kidney function, lately, to believe someone my age (early 30s) might have a longer life WITH PROPER AND FREQUENT MEDICAL ATTENTION. Sadly, that just isn’t an option where I live.

Please, if you can help me with moving expenses (even just a couple of bucks) I would be grateful. I’m sinking fast in Mississippi and now my doctors are giving me too much hope to ignore. I wanna get out of this situation and I’m working my fatigued, brain-foggy ass off to make it out of here.

If I can undo the damage my heart failure caused to the rest of my body, I want to. I don’t want to spend another month KNOWING what I should be eating, what medicines I should be taking, what tests and treatments I should be getting… and receiving almost none of it because Mississippi lawmakers think people like me have somehow earned slow, painful deaths.
