ohhh yess that’s lovely! and then then Ardyn’s face goes cold and deadly and he checks his phone only to find that there’s a video of Ace  that had been sent to him and his nephew is begging for his daemon.

(Ardyn had Kallamare taken from him before, he had been separated from Kallamare and wishes that fate on no one and seeing the same thing happen to his nephew causes the blood in his veins to run icy cold.)

Ardyn takes a breath and tells the Lucians that he’s leaving, his voice silky and smooth as he almost dares them to try and stop him.
