because look, this ardyn is fairly chill - becoming a thief and being able to escape from pretty much anything is actually good for his mental health, who know? - but he is still an utter troll

so he’s irritated the first time the crownsguard try to catch him. and the second time. and the third time.

but their complaints after he escapes are pretty hilarious and King Mors is a bit of a dick - not necessarily a bad king/man, but a dick - and Ardyn is bored

…he also wants to see how bizarre and close his escapes can get before the man has an aneurysm. just for the lols
