So - remember the FFXV/SGA fusion? Where various Eosians are captured by the Wraith, bust out, and join forces with one another/Atlantis? While meanwhile back on Eos Emperor Ardyn and King Regis declare ceasefire, and they form an alliance against the Wraith? Featuring the beginnings of a poly ship and Ardyn flirting outrageous with an incredulously-charmed Regis? Well.
As partially inspired bytheperidotshade, I have the sudden mental image of Ardyn and Regis sealing this alliance, post-long flirtations/courtship, with a wedding. Theirs, to be precise. The Emperor of Niflheim and the King of Lucis marrying one another (and maybe Cor and Nyx…) and forming a new alliance that covers literally all of Eos -
…further mental image of them calling said Alliance ‘Noctheim’. Partially in reference to lost Solheim, partially because, as it begins with an ‘n’, it’s nicely alliterative with Niflheim, and partially in reference to Noctis, the heir of it all - heir to a literal globe-spanning government.
Emperor-King Noctis of Noctheim. Regis cracks himself up sometimes. Ardyn is Deeply Approving of his new spouse’s trollishness.
