Ohhhh
YES they would get along magnificently, and now I’m just, seeing something happen in the Citadel with information getting leaked or something and Alma just going ‘Yeah give me a few hours and a phone call and I’ll take care of it.’
And then he phones up Sable and Velvet and along with Alma’s Rogues whatever it is is taken care of in no time.
But also I’m seeing Just, Alma’s mom (who’s name i will have to confer with my notes for) and Sable having tea together when the call comes in.

Lil addition– if you (born pre-2005) or your parents or grandparents were born on the Island of Ireland you’re eligible for an Irish passport. Northern Irish rights and all that.
The only good thing to come out of the Brexit: the Irish passport office got its shit together.

Also, to the turtles - the lair is home. I mean - as much as it would be great to move into the hotel and have All The Modern Amenities, they’ve spent all their lives in the sewers. They have memories there; they even enjoy it, to an extent, down there. There’s an emotional, nostalgic aspect to be taken under consideration.
So - I think it’s more like they might be spending their time between the hotel and the lair. They’re both - home.

Oh, it’s not a modesty thing. It’s a “it’s cold and all I have is underwear and a cotton hotel bed sheet, and I am cold and damp and my sword is currently in someone else’s hands because it was that or be stabbed, and did I mention it’s COLD” thing. 😁
Methos might not care a whit about modesty, but he Does. Not. Like. being cold. So much dislike of being cold, even when he doesn’t have a choice.
(Calanthe thinks he looks quite nice in just underwear, although he has a point about being cold, it is starting to head toward winter, and he’s not particularly dressed for it. Dress him in a spare uniform until they get back to the city and her castle, and then she can dress him in something better.)
He’s missing his big sweaters xD
*very big grin* He is! Although he’s not likely to get a chance to wear those sweaters again for a while, if ever. Calanthe is going to dress him in nicer looking clothes, and Methos is telling himself that at least he’s warm, and anyway, he has an opportunity here.
(I just have to decide exactly when he got dropped. At the moment, it’s sometime after Pavetta is born, and well before the banquet in episode four. Because I need him well established as one of Calanthe’s inner circle by that point. Probably after Calanthe’s first husband died, but that I’m not as confident about, mostly because I’m not sure when that happened.)
