it would mean that not only does lumi lose nyx, he loses titus as well. he loses both of the people that seemed to give a damn about im and that breaks him a bit
it also means that titus and nyx are haunted by the child they left behind in the labs. it means that they are racked with guilt because they left him, even if its wasnt by choice they still left him.
can you imagine their reactions when lumi shows up in insomnia?
…now i want one of them to see lumi on the streets of insomnia or for dave to know libertus and introduce lumi to them that way

Nyx and Titus end up, somehow, as non-homosexual life partners jointly raising their sort-of-child sort-of-little-brother, Lumi.
I mean. Nyx and Titus are close. The kind of close that emerges from a shared, absolutely horrendous experience. They’re as close as Nyx and Lib are, in their own way. And they’re. Among the very, very few people that Lumi trusts with everything.
Nyx: You escaped?
Titus: No. They let me go.
Nyx: To infiltrate Insomnia? Cool. You’re defecting?
Titus: Now that I know you’re here and you’re alive and you love this city? Yes.
