@hamelin-born I’m sorry, I can’t help but think of the Inhuman Losers AU and Gabriel popping up and being like “Um, well, kiddo, I’ve got some things to explain to you (also that is your great-uncle aunt thing, don’t be rude, It tends to try and eat you when you’re rude, I know this from past experience.)
Richie: It’s already tried to eat me, my friends, random people I sort of know, people I don’t know at all, probably someone’s pet cat at some point, most definitely someone’s pet dog - I don’t exactly see what being polite to it would achieve?
Gabriel: Mostly it distracts It long enough to make a quick getaway. It’s not used to politeness. Oi, Uncle-Aunt, what’s the deal with trying to eat my kid? Is that because of the time that I told you your Deadlights looked like they were getting a little fat? Or is it because of that one prank with Luci and the dinosaurs and the meteor?
Richie: …and now It’s trying to eat my dad.
Richie: Ben, Mike, Bill, Stan, Eddie, Bev - see that short guy that It’s chasing around and roaring at? That’s my dad. Would you mind helping me save him?
