…I just had the mental image of one of the former kings actually materializing in the throne room a week (or sooner) after Thanatos has put on the ring and DEMANDING that someone else put it on for the love of the astrals please they can only answer so much and Thanatos has so many questions.
(The Wise promptly says that he likes Thanatos and the two of them get along like a house on fire.)
