he was taken into the woods by someone he thought was a friend and killed. hits pretty close to home bc multiple relatives of mine, including my great-great-grandfather, were taken into the woods by their own neighbors and killed during the holocaust

I feel like at this point Carrie Fisher has ascended past just being a revered figure and has kinda passed into myth/goddess level. Carrie Fisher and Princess Leia are not just cultural symbols or inspirations, but as one entity they are seen to watch over and safeguard her ‘followers.’ There are things these followers do in her honor: endeavoring to become more confident and kind, following her footsteps by raising awareness about mental health, speaking out on behalf of minorities and the undervalued. So I have £5.77 to live on this month thanks to universal credit being a piece of shit and them sanctioning me without actually, you know, telling me they’d done so for two months. If any of ya’ll have a few spare pennies and don’t mind throwing them at this sad loser so that she can have a warm home over December and January, it’d be much appreciated.

so i don’t even have £5.77 haha since the DWP has decided to stop my UC entirely right now. i’m going to fight them over it now because i have the spoons for it (even though i want to just die tbh) but that’ll be on monday and i don’t know how long they’ll drag this shit out for (probably forever if they can).

recently, as some of ya’ll know, my mother’s cat, mason, required a vet visit due to a stress-related UTI. he’s on the mend now but we need to be aware of anything happening with him and may have to take him back at some point if things start turning for the worse again. that costs money unfortunately, money i don’t have (screw you government).

i’m back at uni as well so classes have started up and it costs £10 a day to get to and from the university via transport (and over 2 hours but meh). food and heating issues are… issues still. i’m not eating right at the moment, partly because we don’t have a lot of stuff i can eat, and partly because i’m ill and the house is cold and my bed is warm and the food isn’t in there with me (rude).

i hate asking so fucking much for any help because i’ve been raised to deal for myself tbh so this, asking, is hard. it’s harder still because i feel like i have nothing i can do to repay any of ya’ll because my health is ruined.

if any of ya’ll have any coinage you can toss at my sad disaster of an existence so it can keep being a sad disaster existence, i will literally appreciate it so much i’ll give you my (likely never to happen) firstborn.

Update: 27/1/2018

I’ve still got no where with the DWP or with UC so I’m still relying on actually getting money at the end of February. I was hopeful I’d get something in February but… That’s looking less and less likely unfortunately.

If any of you have anything to spare please help me and mine out.
