So apparently the latest thing being done by unehtical porn bots/bloggers to get views, is they’re tagging explicit images with trending tags so that they show up on your dash. They are also, however, tagging popular blogs. So if you happen to be following thebibliosphere as a tag or search for me, which, apparently some of you are, it’s putting explicit porn onto your dashes.

I am, for lack of a better way to say this: fucking pissed about this.

In no way am I affiliated with this, nor have I consented for my url to be used in this way. I’ve reported the offending blogs, though what Tumblr can do about this, if anything I don’t know.

I just thought you all should be aware this is happening, and be careful if you’re searching for me via the Tumblr search function, or are following #thebibliosphere as a tag.

oh shit i thought i told you. it’s been going on for weeks now. I’ve been reporting them left and right but there’s 3-4 new ones every day.  they seem to be using the 15-20 most popular tags at any given time.  it’s affecting you, @glumshoe, @vampireapologist and a whole bunch of other blogs.  

I am pissed off too but it hadn’t occured to me people might be following my tag in general so uh- maybe don’t for a while until this gets fixed? 

Also, to add to the curse: I hope you all get ticks in sensitive places.

When I took human anatomy, all the boys were *thrilled* to hold the breast implants, but when the professor brought out the jar of preserved penises we had no male volunteers to handle them.
