Guess who’s my new favourite FF villian, yup, Ardyn it is!
I finally got myself to play ff15 (late af I know), immediately fell in love with the game and ended up crying waterfalls at the end. I LOVE the chocobros (anyone hurt them I’ll stabbu) but the one character who caught my attention the most is Ardyn, especially after finishing the DLCs, episode Ardyn gave me so much feels and a deeper understanding for the character.

I’ve been scamming the Dominos app promotion where you take a picture of any pizza for free points. For three weeks in row, not only has their shitty camera always interpreted any photo of my cat as pizza, I always tell them it was “the worst I’ve ever had” and “made at home”.

That’s all, folks. Six cat pictures within six weeks, and for a total of 60 Dominos points, redeemable for a medium 2-topping pizza of my choosing. I will be getting pepperoni and chicken, mine and Charlie’s respective favorites. He will be given many tiny pieces of chicken for being a perfect little model pizza boy, and also for aiding me in tricking a multimillion dollar company into giving me free food. Thanks for giving him the love and attention you all have given this post! He’s gonna try to stay humble.

So it turns out coming up with bullshit reasons to fire me wasn’t enough! Target has now successfully shot down my attempt to collect unemployment! I intend to fight the decision but based on previous experience it’ll be at least 3-5 months before I see a single penny. Until then I have absolutely no income and thus no way to pay bills.

A tribute to Christopher Tolkien. Without him, we wouldn’t have been able to grasp the true depth of Middle Earth’s history, and there would be many more stories left untold. The Silmarillion has always been a favorite, and has been a constant source of inspiration and a source of comfort, along with the other books in the legendarium. There are no words to describe how much these books mean to me, and no words to express how I’ll forever be grateful for them for their accompaniment throughout the years. It always felt like coming home, reading them, to a place you’ll forever hold dear to your heart. His and his father’s legacy will continue to live on, and I’ll forever be thankful that it has been released into the world, for the world is immensely better because of it.
From the depths of my heart, thank you for everything you’ve done, Christopher Tolkien. May the Star of Eärendil guide you back Into the West, and may you find eternal peace in the Halls of Mandos.

The name sounds remotely familiar.
There is kindness to the being’s voice; compassion. And he doesn’t feel frightened anymore.
“Many who dwell here you probably know,” Námo says, gesturing behind and his eyes follows. “The tragic heroes of your father’s stories - Fëanor, Fingolfin, Maedhros, Finrod, Gil-galad; they have all come to greet you.”
A dark-haired Elf stepped forward. “To greet and thank you - for bringing us to life.”
He feels tears well in his eyes, feels them streaming down his face, and then… then he feels an embrace and the comfort that comes with it, knowing that all is well. It’s just another path, another journey - another life.

Like for some reason Regis and three year old Noctis are on a ship going from Altissia back to insomnia and Noctis gets lost at sea. They look for him but eventually it’s decided he died and a funeral is held.
But actually Noctis like, washed up on the shores of Galahd and was taken in by Libertus’ family, with him and Nyx around thirteen so they are still a ten years older than Noct. (This is where things get hedgey because the invasion of galahd and set up of kingsglaive would happen later in this case i would suppose?) anyway Noctis is raised Galahdan until he’s thirteen and the island is invaded.
Libertus is Noctis’ only family so he takes Noct to insomnia with him when he and Nyx go to join the Glaive. He’s visiting his uncle Nyx while he’s on duty guarding the castle cause he did something or other, and runs into Gladio, or Ignis or Regis, and they recognize him as Noctis because reasons. (Maybe a crest or a birthmark or something also I’d say he gets to insomnia at thirteen, but doesn’t actually get caught at the citadel til later, maybe 14 or 15??)
Anyway now there is a huge thing where Noctis has to be the prince again but insists that they respect the fact that he is galahdan. And all the political upheaval because the citizens are upset that their long lost prince is now an outsider.
Also his name is Tono, for thunder. Cause he washed up during a thunderstorm and they considered this a blessing of Ramuh. ( and also in reference to how Anastasia had the name Anya in the cartoon cause she couldn’t remember hers. Which is why i thought of this idea)
