Nobody is going to react well, tbh. Especially Regis et al.
Because they’ve worked with Titus for years, have considered him a friend and they thought that they knew him well. And they didn’t know.
He’s been through all of this, has been hurt so terribly by Niflheim, and they didn’t know.
How blind must they have been? To missed this not once but twice, with people who they thought that they knew well. How many people have Niflheim tortured like this? Because this brings the count up to three children, all badly tortured and experimented on by scientists.
And Titus has had none of that support. Lumi had Dave, Nyx had Ramuh and his friends - even if he didn’t tell them everything - but Titus?
Titus has been suffering alone, all of these years.
And they didn’t even notice, not until Nyx reached out to him - not until Titus took it upon himself to protect these two who had suffered like he had. The understanding that he gets from Nyx and Lumi helps to heal him, and Regis et al hadn’t even realised that he was so broken.
