*shakes fist at tumblr*. I’m sorry, friend, this is the first time I’ve seen your post - tumblr is ever hungry, it seems.

*is thoughtful*. I think it’s less a glamor and more Hogwarts itself Taking Steps. It’s - something between a glamor and a Fidelius charm; when Newt, Graves, and the Goldsteins are at Hogwarts as the Founders, people can look at them, can recognize them as the Founders, can take in their features - it’s simply that they cannot connect what they look like to their current incarnations. You could standing Godric!Graves next to a picture of Percival Graves, and a non-Founder would simply be unable to make the connection.

If that’s the case, I think that even the ghosts wouldn’t be able to note the similarities. It makes for a bit of cognitive dissonance for Newt, actually - keep in mind that he’s the only one of the four who attended Hogwarts the second time around. These are people that he knows, that he’s fond of, and they simply cannot recognize him.

I think that Helena Ravenclaw didn’t really have time to ponder the idea before Queenie Goldstein was politely knocking on the door to the Ravenclaw quarters, asking if she could come in.

Queenie has learned. Has learned that wisdom and intelligence are not the be-all-end-all. She has learned that family should have come first, before everything, and she just wants to say - she wants to say that she’s sorry. That she loves her daughter, and always has. She’s not expecting anything of her; Helena shouldn’t feel that she has to reciprocate her feelings, but her mother will always love her.
