…upon reflection, I think that aera!Cor and Ardyn might - have done things a bit backward. They’re both very different from the people they once were. They still love one another - but for all they know, they might be in love with the person the other person used to be.
Instead, they agree to court one another again. To try again. And oh - but Ardyn and aera!Cor feel young again, young and foolish and in love, reliving, almost, the best years of their lives while they fall for one another all over again.

He can do his evil laugh on cue, and it’s really forced. When he genuinely laughs it sounds 100% different, and he usually stops himself before it goes on too long, but sometimes there’s just something that makes him laugh so much he has to excuse himself from the area.
his sex hair is completely natural
He reads a lot of novels. At one point he tried to make it a goal to keep up with every book ever written, but it was too much. He can speed read faster than anyone though.
Incredibly good with technology?? You’d think he’d be so behind on it, but he keeps up with new inventions pretty well. Probably built his own computer.
Extremely bad with keeping up with slang, walking version of “What’s up fellow kids?”
He sticks with the same one outfit for two millennia because its best to stick with the classics (*cough* can’t keep up with new trends *cough*)
Trends come and go anyways, so there’s no need to keep up with them.
Doesn’t own a phone, he refuses to carry something around that can keep him in contact with others. Probably prefers sending letters, or emails if necessary.
Has no need for eating or drinking, and doesn’t like to anyways. If he did it would be for the texture since his sense of smell and taste has been dulled almost completely.
He can’t feel cold or warmth, so he can’t even enjoy a warm beverage. Probably only drinks tea for appearances. Would 100% chug scorching tea down his throat without batting an eye.

So, total sidebar from the overemotional stressfest I’ve been the past day or so… I’ve been rereading favorite books this week, because I’ve been in need of comfort books. And a few days ago I was eyeing my bookshelf, trying to figure out what to pick up next and my eyes locked on the Coldfire Trilogy. First of all, I fucking love those books. I’ve reread them many times. But… they’re A LOT. A LOT a lot. And I didn’t know if I had it in me to read them right now. It’s not like picking up an Anne Bishop book which I can zip through in less than a day. I need to read these slowly and Process Them as I go (and not just because they’re like… 600 pages each). And I didn’t know if I had the attention span in me.
I’m now 337 pages into Black Sun Rising and flat out SOBBING because I let myself go more than three years without a reread (I ACTUALLY THINK IT’S BEEN MORE THAN FIVE???) and I JUST LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH AND I’VE MISSED THEM AND I’VE MISSED C.S. FRIEDMAN’S WRITING AND I JUST LOVE THESE BOOKS SO. FUCKING. MUCH. and when I’m done re-reading, if someone wants to yell about them with me, I WILL BE HAPPY TO YELL ABOUT THEM WITH SOMEONE. ^____________^ Just putting that out there. ^_^
(In other news, I think I know a fandom that just got bumped to the top of my YT request list… ;D OH. OR MAYBE ToT. Coldfire would be fucking PERFECT for ToT. *_*)

That’s not to say they don’t work well together, because together they are great, but srsly, if you were going to spend time with any one of them, would it be the one who is genuinely likely to kill you?
I still see Ray Stevenson as my Damien. He’d have to bulk up a bit, but that’s how I see him.
